illFX Education App

We are happy to be utilizing our illFX Education App even more this season! The App helps to streamline our business and our communications with parents and dancers. Once we receive your registration you will be able to access your account on the illFX App (available in the App Store and Google Play Store).  Please do not try to access your account until you receive login information from us so we can pre-load your registration information for you! Accounts will be updated by Saturday, September 10th, 2023.

Login Instructions

Getting started on illFX App:

  1. Download App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or visit https://dancestudio-pro.com/online/illfx

  2. Check your email (junk mail) for email from Dance Studio Pro containing your login details. Contact Cody (cody@illfxentertainment.com) if you have not received your login details by September 11th.

  3. If you are using the Mobile App you will need to create a login specifically for the App the first time you open it. This login will be different from the login we send you for Dance Studio Pro

  4. Once you are signed into the App, navigate to “Parent Portal” in the bottom menu. Here you will sign-in using the email and password Dance Studio Pro sent you. If you are a returning parent you will use your sign-in information from last season.

  5. Find the More section at the bottom to enroll in autopay. All accounts must enroll in autopay. If you have made previous arrangements the app will not make you enroll. To enroll, enter your credit card info and select Save. If you don't plan to pay by credit card you don't need to fill out this section, see our Note Regarding App Payments below for more payment options.

  6. You will notice once you have logged in that there is a balance owing on the account. You will owe for both September and June upfront. This payment is due September 11, 2023.

  7. Also under the More section, if you scroll to the bottom you will see a Waiver and Release section. Look over our Studio Policies and click "I agree to terms and conditions". Dancers cannot participate in classes until this has been filled out! Once you hit accept you are fully registered in illFX!

  8. Make sure to look around to learn more about your billing, account history, calendar, shared files, studio store, news and notes so you are familiar. Many of these sections won't have content in them yet but will be populated quickly as we get going.

Note Regarding App Payments: The illFX Education App only takes Credit Card or Visa Debit Cards. If you do not have either of these you can still pay by post-dated cheques. See your welcome email for amounts, make sure to take GST into account. Provided we receive your cheques by September 9, 2023 we will pre-load your information onto the App and when you register on the App it will show that your payment has been received by cheque and you will not have to register for Auto Pay.  We will not be accepting e-transfers unless you are paying in bulk amounts.

If you are paying by Credit Card there is a 2.96% processing fee similar to other online registration platforms.

Monthly Payment Schedule: The first payment will be taken on the 11th of September. Subsequent payments will be charged on the 1st of the month until May 1, 2024.

Registration Fee: You will notice once you have logged in that there may be a balance owing on the account. You will owe for both September and June upfront as well as a $105 Registration Fee (if you did not pay it before July 15). This payment is due September 11, 2023. If you paid your Registration Fee by the pre-registration deadline that amount will already be applied to the amount owing.

Cancellation Policy: Written notice from a parent or adult dancer is required to withdraw from the program. Written notice will be accepted only if given directly to an illFX Director or submitted by email. This notice of termination must be received 15 days prior to the end of a given month or you will be charged for the following month. Once proper notice has been received, the monthly fees will be waived for the remainder of the program.

On December 1 all costume and competition fees become NON-REFUNDABLE. There is no refund for missed classes or prepaid classes. The final day to withdraw is January 31. After this date you will be responsible to pay full tuition for the remainder of the year whether the dancer is attending class or not.

PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for payment of classes regardless of attendance until the time you submit your written notice of termination.

Competition Fees: Your annual competition fees will broken down into 3 installments this year. Once payment has been made these fees are non-refundable. The fee total will be announced at the end of September and payments will be made as follows:

  • October 31st - 1st Installment Due
    Includes competition entry fees, crew shirts and costume fees

  • January 31st - 2nd Installment Due
    Includes transportation fees (busses etc).

  • February 28th - 3rd Installment Due
    Includes fees for accommodations (hotels etc)

  • March 15th - Final Competition Fee Deadline
    All fees must be paid in full to participate in competitions

Refer a Friend: If you have referred another dancer to us you will be credited for one month of programming once the friend has fully registered and paid their initial fees (September & June tuition + Registration Fee).

Bursary Students: Your bursary will have already been applied to your account and all payments will have your percentage applied except for fees outside of tuition, such as competition and events. Click here for more information on bursaries.
